With a variety of handy tools<\/a><\/strong> and great services available, it’s never been easier to travel around by public transport. New technology means you don’t have to wait around at bus stops, many buses and trains now have WiFi on board, cashless ticket options and more! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your nearest bus stops are located on Cumberworth Road<\/strong> and Huddersfield Road<\/strong>, just a short walk from your new home. Further details on the buses which serve these stops can be found below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your journey is over a slightly longer distance, travel by rail is a great option! Denby Dale is your closest station, around 10 minutes by bike or 15 minutes on the bus. From this station, there are hourly services to both Huddersfield, and Sheffield via Barnsley. These stations all offer great onward travel connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Local Bus Services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Key local bus services are provided by Team Pennine (part of the Transdev group of bus companies), and can be easily accessed from bus stops on Huddersfield Road and Cumberworth Road. Key services include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Denby Darts D1: Huddersfield to Skelmanthorpe & Denby Dale (via Kirkburton, Clayton West and Scissett)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Services runs every 30 minutes through the day, Monday to Saturday, with hourly services on an evening and Sunday. Buses stop in either direction on Huddersfield Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holmfirth Explorer X1: Holmfirth to Denby Dale then Wakefield (via Shepley, Skelmanthorpe, Scissett and Clayton West)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Service runs hourly through the day, Monday to Saturday, with a service every two hours on a Sunday. Buses stop on both Cumberworth Road and Huddersfield Road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
